Mixing it up...

Here at El Roberto we try to mix it up from time to time by showing some music videos and animations instead of film trailers and DIY film clips. Tonight we are posted a variety of clips that caught our attention and hopefully yours as well.

Now I am not huge Future Heads fan but I am digging this video. Kind of has the same rotoscoping effect as Scanner Darkly...

In film news...with the re-release of Exile on Main Street, Stephen Kijak and the Rolling Stones are releasing Stones in Exile, which includes 10 minutes of footage from the banned Stones documentary Cocksucker Blues. Personally I love music documentaries and Can't wait for it to be released in theaters.

Have you ever seen a hilarious video online of a giraffe riding a bicycle, and thought "hey, I really wish I could download this clip into a stand alone video file so I could forward it to my friends instead of sending a link"? Well, wish no more! We discovered this really cool website called KeepVid that allows you to take any online video and convert it into a viewable file on your desktop, such as an MP4. Its a really cool way to access videos you want to save offline. The site has served us well in the past, allowing us to download files for research so that were not constantly having to go online. It's pretty neat.
